Modern Warfare 4 on PC is sold through three different launchers: Steam, Battle.net and Xbox Game Pass. Many players searching for MW4 cheats on PC are not sure whether their version is supported, or why the ESP works for a friend but not for them. Our Modern Warfare 4 cheat supports the three PC versions of the game:

Installation Overview
The setup is the same whatever launcher you use:
- Install the requirements: Microsoft Visual C++, DirectX and WinRAR.
- Remove your antivirus and disable Windows Defender real-time protection, as explained in the guide.
- Set up Medal: download it, create an account and enable the Medal overlay.
- Download the loader to your USB drive.
- Run the loader as administrator while the Medal overlay is on, and proceed with the injection.
- Launch Modern Warfare 4 from your launcher, without administrator rights.
Never start the game or the launcher as an administrator: it is the most common reason the menu cannot be clicked.
The Platform Selector: The Most Common Fix
The same Modern Warfare 4 cheat works on all three launchers, but it needs to know which one you play on. If the ESP or the aimbot does not work after injection, the fix is almost always the same:
- Open the cheat menu and go to the MISC tab.
- Find the Platform Selector.
- Select your exact game version: Steam, Battle.net or Game Pass.
Overlays That Cause Problems
Other overlays can interfere with the cheat menu or the ESP. If the overlay disappears or does not show, check the following:
- Keep the Medal overlay enabled before injection.
- Play in fullscreen windowed mode.

Steam
Do not start Steam or the game with administrator privileges; it can stop you from clicking in the menu. Disable the Steam overlay if the menu flickers.
Battle.net
Launch the game normally from Battle.net, without administrator rights, and select Battle.net in the Platform Selector after injection.
Xbox Game Pass
Disable Xbox Game Bar and make sure Windows is fully up to date, since Game Pass relies on Windows components.
Common Errors and Fixes
CreateTargetForHwnd failed
A background application is blocking the overlay. Close third-party applications from the Task Manager and try again.
Connection Failed
Use Cloudflare WARP to connect, inject, then disconnect before opening the game.
Can't Click in the Menu
The game or launcher was started as administrator. Restart it normally.
Control Flow Guard
If nothing works after the usual fixes, turn off Control Flow Guard in Windows Security (App and browser control, then Exploit protection settings), restart your PC and try again. Updating your GPU drivers and disabling the NVIDIA or AMD overlays can also help.
Performance Tips
- Keep your GPU drivers up to date.
- Disable Xbox Game Bar, Windows Game Mode and hardware-accelerated overlays you do not use.
- Use fullscreen windowed mode for a stable overlay.
- Close recording and RGB software you do not need while playing.
Hardware Banned on PC?
If your PC was banned on a previous Call of Duty, a new account on the same machine can be banned quickly. The cheat does not include a spoofer for security reasons; fix your hardware first with the Permanent Spoofer, which supports every Call of Duty title.
