Why Radar Beats Raw Aim in Siege
Siege is slow, tactical and punishes over-peeking. Knowing where defenders are holding, or where attackers are pushing, lets you play angles you already know are safe. A radar gives you that information without covering your screen with overlays.
What the R6 Radar Shows
- Enemy positioning: every operator's position in real time
- Nearby threats: who is close enough to swing on you
- Flank awareness: enemies moving behind your team
- Rotation awareness: defenders rotating between sites, attackers switching entry points
- Map awareness: a full overview of the round
Reading Rotations as an Attacker
As an attacker, the radar tells you where defenders set up and where roamers are hiding. Before your team commits to a site, check which rooms are stacked and which roamer is out of position. Time your push when rotations leave a site thin.
Stopping Flanks as a Defender
As a defender, the radar shows attackers moving around the building. When someone breaks off to flank, you see it before they reach your angle. Hold the right spot, call it out to your team and catch them mid-rotation.

- Bind the menu to a hotkey so you can adjust mid-match
- Use DPI scaling to fit the radar to your screen
- Keep the radar small and in a corner, so it never blocks your view
