Why High-Refresh Fusing Is Hard
A fuser has to take two video signals, merge them and output the result in real time. At 1440p 240 Hz or 4K 120 Hz, that is a lot of data. Cheaper fusers either cap the refresh rate, compress the colors or add latency, three things competitive players notice immediately.
What to Look For
- Supported modes: does it actually run your monitor's native resolution and refresh rate?
- Chroma: 4:4:4 means no color compression; text and thin ESP lines stay sharp
- Latency: anything you can feel in a fight is too much
- Switching: how easily you move between the two PCs
